Ingredients
1 1/4 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
cut into 1 inch pieces
1/3 cup cornstarch
2 eggs, beaten
1/3 Frank’s red hot
1/2 cup honey
salt and black pepper
1 tbsp vinegar
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1/4 cup green onions, sliced
3 tbsp olive oil
Method
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
place chicken in a medium bowl and salt and pepper to taste.
Add cornstarch to the bowl and toss to coat.
Heat oil in a large skillet over high heat.
Dip chicken in eggs and fry 3-4 minutes per side, in batches, until golden brown.
Transfer chicken to a 9×13 baking pan greased with cooking spray.
In a bowl, combine the hot sauce, honey, vinegar, and red pepper flakes.
Pour the sauce over the chicken and bake for 35 minutes, stirring once halfway through.
