Seven layer dip is a delicious and easy to make dish. It starts with a layer of cream cheese combined with nacho cheese, topped with taco sauce, and then topped off with a layer of fresh vegetables. The vegetables can include tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, jalapenos, and any other favorite vegetables you may have. Once the vegetables are cut and ready to go, simply layer them on top of the nacho cheeses. This seven layer dip is sure to be a hit at any party or gathering.
Ingredients
9oz nacho cheese dip
8oz package of cream cheese
8oz taco sauce, any heat
1 cup chopped lettuce
1 bunch of green onions, chopped
2 tomatoes, seeded and chopped
1 cup shredded cheddar or taco blend cheese
tortilla chips
Method
In a medium bowl, combine the nacho cheese and cream cheese and mix until smooth.
Spread mixture on a round serving plate.
Pour taco sauce around top of mixture.
Top with shredded cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and green onions. You may also add peppers, jalapenos, olives, etc.
Cover with cellophane and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Remove from the refrigerator and serve with tortilla chips.
