Ingredients
2 bunches broccoli rabe cleaned and trimmed
1 1/4 cups olive oil
3 cloves of chopped garlic
1 small chili pepper, diced
1 medium lemon, thinly sliced
salt and pepper
Method
Bring a large pot of water to a boil, add broccoli rabe, and cook for 2-3 minutes, until tender.
In a large saucepan heat the olive oil over medium heat.
Add the garlic, chili pepper, lemon slices, and cook for 5 minutes.
Add the broccoli rabe and stir well.
Cover the pot and cook over medium-low heat for 10-15 minutes.
You can serve right away or lower heat to low and let simmer until ready to serve.
