Ingredients
1 package cheese tortellini
1 cup flour
2 large eggs, beaten
1 cup bread crumbs, Italian or panko
1/3 cup grated parmesan
2 tbsp melted butter
1 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp garlic powder
red pepper flakes to taste (optional)
Marinara, homemade or jarred
Method
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Cook tortellini according to packages instructions.
In a medium bowl mix the bread crumbs with the butter, parmesan, oregano, and garlic powder. Add red pepper flakes if desired, 1/4 to 1/2 tsp.
Coat tortellini with flour, and then egg, and then bread crumb mixture and place on cookie sheet.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden, remove from oven, and serve with warmed marinara.
