Slow cooker pork chops with gravy is a delicious and easy meal that is perfect for busy weeknight dinners. Ingredients
1 tbsp olive oil
6-8 bone-in, 1/2 inch thick pork chops
2 cups chicken broth
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/3 cup cornstarch
1/3 cup cold milk
Method
Heal olive oil in a large skillet and sear pork chops, in batches, for 2 minutes per side, then transfer to the slow cooker.
Combine the chicken broth, salt, and garlic powder, and add to the slow cooker.
Cook on high for 1 hour then on low for 4 hours, until tender.
Transfer pork chops to a platter and cover with foil to keep warm.
Transfer cooking liquid to a large saucepan and turn heat to medium.
Combine milk and cornstarch, making sure not to have any lumps.
Add to the cooking liquid 1/3 at a time, whisking frequently, until desired consistency.
Serve pork chops with the gravy and a potato dish.
