Ingredients

1lb rigatoni

28oz can of San Marzano whole peeled tomatoes with their juice

1/2lb hot or sweet bulk sausage

2tbsp olive oil

2 cloves of minced garlic

2/3 cup parmesan

Method

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.

Add the olive oil to a saute pan and over medium heat cook the garlic until golden.

Add the sausage and cook until browned.

Add the tomatoes, crushing with the back of a wooden spoon, and increase the heat to medium-high. Cook, stirring occasionally for 15-20 minutes, breaking up larger chunks of tomato.

Cook the pasta until al dente, toss with the sauce and parmesan, and serve.
