Ingredients
1 head of broccoli
1/4 cup olive oil
salt
2 cloves of minced garlic
2 tbsp parsley
grated parmesan (optional)
Method
Cut the stalks off of the broccoli, making florets.
Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add 1 tbsp of salt.
Cook broccoli florets for about 3-5 minutes, until tender.
In a large saute pan, heat the olive oil and garlic over medium heat until the garlic turns golden.
Add the broccoli and parsley and cook for 2 minutes, transfer to a platter, and serve.
You may serve grated parmesan on the side if desired.
