Ingredients
1 1/2 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs
1 1/2 cups jarred salsa verde
8 cloves of garlic, minced
1 chili pepper or jalapeno, seeded and chopped
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp cumin
4 oz can green chiles
3 scallions, thinly sliced
1 cup cilantro (optional)
Method
Combine the chicken, salsa verde, green chiles, garlic, jalapeno, garlic powder, onion powder, and cumin in your slow cooker.
Cook on low 5-6 hours until chicken is very tender.
Use 2 forks or a mixer and shred the chicken in the slow cooker.
