Stromboli is an Italian-American classic. It is a folded pizza with a variety of fillings, such as cheese, meats, and vegetables. The dough is usually thin and lightly seasoned, and is often topped with sauce and melted cheese. It is then folded in half and baked until the crust is golden and crisp. The inside is gooey and delicious, with the flavors of the fillings blending together perfectly. The pizza is often served with a side of marinara sauce for dipping. Stromboli can be a great meal for a family or a group of friends, and it’s sure to please everyone!

Ingredients
1 batch of pizza dough cut into 4 balls.
Method
Oven-Baked
Heat your oven on convection bake to 500 degrees.
Cut a piece of parchment paper to fit on your pizza peel and spread your pizza dough out to a 12-inch circle to fit on the paper. You can vertically rotate the dough to stretch out then finish stretching on the paper itself. Stretch the dough out into a 12 inch pizza shape with your hands and finish on the parchment paper.
On 1/2 of the dough pile your cheese and desired toppings then fold the other 1/2 over top. Seal the seam with your fingers and then brush the top of the stromboli with olive oil.
Slide the stromboli, on the parchment paper, onto your pizza steel.
Bake for 3 minutes, flip, bake an additional 3 minutes, then remove from oven.
Let rest for a couple minutes to cool.
You may top with or dip in pizza sauce if you wish.
Deep Frying
Heat oil in deep-fryer to 375 degrees
Slide stromboli carefully into the deep fryer and cook for 2 minutes.
Flip and cook an additional minute.
Remove and let cool a couple of minutes.
