Triple Citrus Mojitos are a refreshing and delicious twist on the classic mojito. This cocktail is made with three different types of citrus – lime, orange, and lemon – as well as white rum, mint, and sugar. Ingredients
1 cup fresh mint leaves
1 orange
2 lemons
2 limes
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup white rum
5 cups lemon-lime soda
Method
Combine sugar and water in a large microwave-safe bowl.
Chop all but 10 of the mint leaves and add to sugar water.
Place the remaining 10 mint leaves in a large pitcher.
Zest the orange, 1 lemon, and 1 lime and add to the sugar water.
Microwave sugar water on high for 2-3 minutes, until sugar is dissolved.
Slice all of the fruit in half, lengthwise.
Set aside 1 lemon and 1 lime half.
Juice the remaining fruit and add the juice to the pitcher.
Pour sugar mixture through a strainer, into the pitcher, and discard the chopped mint leaves.
Add rum and soda and stir well.
Slice remaining lemon and lime halves and add to the pitcher.
Serve in a tall glass over ice.
